My whole creative life changed through #TheActorsCentre. The courses I attended, creative collaborations, connections, friendships, support to create work & space to perform it. My 20 yr teaching in 1aTowerSt. This continues to be a profound loss esp for the new generation.
Ongoing training provides opportunities to collaborate with other artists, fostering creative growth & building professional connections. So many careers began/developed at #TheActorsCentre. @7DialsPlayhouse can restore this vital resource & support itself & 1000s more artists.

The value of affordable/accessible on going actor training is indisputable & vitally important in the current climate of cuts/lack of provision. We need a dedicated training/community space for actors. We had one for 40yrs & still fail to understand how its removal was green lit.
We know @7DialsPlayhouse is being scrutinised by @ChtyCommission. Now it’s more important than ever to stand together & campaign to return affordable/accessible training to our former home in 1a Tower St. Join us & @EquityUK please sign/share widely

Let’s do the right thing & put training back in 1a Tower St. Actors benefit, the former Tristan Bates Theatre benefits, creatives benefit, the industry benefits, society benefits. A currently predominantly empty building could be restored & revitalised. We need an Actors Centre.
With the tragic loss of another undergrad course, affordable actor training is more vital than ever. #TheActorsCentre provided this for 40yrs & the return of training to Tower St must be what we all work together to achieve @7DialsPlayhouse @EquityUK

The @7DialsPlayhouse accounts @CompaniesHouse (having already been extended) are 9 days late. 142 on @ChtyCommission website. At a meeting between A@C, the CC & @paulwfleming we’re encouraged to hear that 7DP’s actions are being scrutinised. We look forward to continued dialogue.
