adding onto this, if finalfest and big run are connected I feel like the fest theme could be something that involves, sky, sea and land, all connect to the 3 salmon kings I think it would make sense, and that could somehow influence evolution in the cities/locations of splatoon
They have also added a parameter for announcing the Big Run in the Splatfest schedule params, essentially confirming that there will be a future Splatfest related to a Big Run in some way.
