I feel like I've kept kind of quiet about this, but one of the big reasons I stopped working on 'traditional' AI safety / governance work and switched to working on healing is because our level of consciousness as a society is one of the most important factors in how we respond.

Last year I did the Purpose Guides Institute 3 month program to discover your soul purpose. It was pretty life changing, in ways that are hard to describe. It was the first time I felt a sustained secure attachment to the universe, which was incredible, and I felt clear.

Experimenting with using LMs to run the Ideal Parent Figure Protocol. I've been doing IPF for the last 8 mos, and it's been the most effective therapy I've done. And it follows a discernible decision tree!. I think it works pretty well, have had a few catharsis moments from it :)

something I am seeing a lot is that people try to push anger out. sometimes this is helpful to clear the pipes, but often it kinda misses the actual spot. The satisfying release often comes from going slow, staying right next to the charge and letting it build.

like okay I am truly not an expert and mostly feel at sea when people talk about all the buddhist dogma, but afaict we're not doing a lot of like, classic concentration practices. It feels very energetic, and I'm kinda like riding my energetic wave into awake awareness.

more broadly, it was such a body-felt relief to be in a room of people who I didn't need to convince that we should do more than risk mitigation. Risk mitigation is important, but knowing where we want to go (what is the positive vision of the future we want?) is also crucial.
