People forget we had 4th stringers out there since practically the middle of the season… The expectation was for the offense to carry the defense because of this, that’s why Goff gets more of the blame. THIS is why his 4 turnovers stands out so much.
The Lions defense did this • allowed 38 points • had too many men on the field on a 4th down resulting in a first and TD • Kerby PI on 3rd and 10 resulting in a TD • allowed a 58 yd screen pass TD • forced 1 punt • forced 1 turnover on downs • allowed 9/12 first downs
