The reason why taxes are high and nothing works "many of our most important services are being delivered by private companies, often owned by equity firms extracting enormous profits"
Rather surprisingly the Morning Star have given my book a good review. Includes this tremendous sentence: "He is not a Marxist and offers no class analysis, but it would by asinine to dismiss his critique on that basis."

A matter of Life and Death @UKLabour needs to use our institutions to change our health
Really enjoyed this one: I got to host @bunker_pod to talk about food - can we improve society by eating better in schools, hospitals and prisons? Great chat with our guest Professor Kevin Morgan

@greenmiranda @steverichards14 Great to see everyone agreeing that privatisation had been a disaster balanced with one-off income. Only BA & BT identified as successes. World be insightful to list all the failures to date

@dorfman_p Vehicles have caused a lot of damage to the planet for over a hundred years. EVs will reduce the damage caused by emissions but we'll need to work on new materials for tyres (or road sweepers)
