HOW I BUILT MY HOME GYM 𧔠At the beginning of this year, I built a home gym. I've used it every week since installing it and I'll probably never need a gym membership again. I'd like to walk you through my decision process about what I bought and why, and propose some alternatives in case you need save cost. For most of these items, I didn't want a temporary solution - I wanted to buy these items for life. My Total Cost: $2,777 You could get the cost down to $1,623 if you didn't buy everything I bought and you choose the less expensive options I mention. You could go even lower if you score some used equipment locally. Here's what my current setup looks like:

Wife, why are you loading up all those weights, squat stands, and bench you're going to church camp for the week? Me, it's like you dont even know me... Just so you know, this is the measure of resolve to impact the young in my charge.đ

@ChristOverChaos Itâs humbling and satisfying to see your âlast repâ and my âlast repâ arenât too far apart in terms of bar speed and effort. What I mean is, even though youâre lifting more than me, the effort output is similar. Stronger guys are working just as hard. Great reps dude.

Finally got enough snow to play. We live at the end of a cul-de-sac so the highlight of every snowstorm is the âpile of snowâ that the plow pushes into our yard. Not quite enough for a castle this time around, but they still had a blast.
