Knowing AK’s cunningness, he probably cannot be written off completely as he would like to show the world that he may be down but not out. However, In order for him to succeed in an unlikely event of bouncing back in the near future, he would need financial resources which he doesn’t have, and the trust of the people which he has lost with his immature gimmicks and arrogant words. The public trust is important whether it is Delhi or Punjab and whether it is AAP or INC.

@Mohansinha I totally agree. He ought to be dismissed from the mind so that he doesn’t occupy a rent free stay there. He and his supporters of the left wing are doing exactly with that and linking it with freedom of speech.

By all means, please do hold BJP, the new ruling dispensation in Delhi, accountable for what it has promised. Otherwise, it is bound to meet the same fate as your party has. However, don’t you think you have to hold your own party and its leaders including yourself, to the same standards of accountability for its promises and non-performance since then? Why is it that you expect perfection from others while deliberately ignoring your own track record? It’s time AAP learnt a few lessons in humility and shed its unbearable arrogance.

This is a familiar story, having seen it from close quarters, in a group of some of my closest friends…people have no regard for the emotional ties of decades among these group members who have become hostile only because of their political preferences and biases. The politics has become too personal and full of hatred against each other as if they are running a warfare, out to annihilate each other. The lust and greed for power has corrupted the minds of both politicians and their supporters so much that they do not think it abnormal to tell lies through their teeth, spread calumny and misinformation about the rivals, and defame even their family members. This mindset is difficult to change, though not impossible. It would need tremendous patience and understanding and a very high capacity for standing humiliation to bring about such a change which many people admit would not happen in their life time. After all, you have only one life to live…!

@MumbaichaDon Devil quoting scriptures is the only description that comes to mind when AK says that his party came to power only to serve the people…and not to enjoy the privileges of being in power. What a sham!!

@ImtiazMadmood “….they all seem to be blaspheming against each other..” is assured of at least a mutual annihilation, without any real need for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) that were devised in George Bush administration in early twenty-first Century.

There was a time before the advent of Social Media when your voice as a news anchor would be heard throughout the country over the TV channel. That has been lost irretrievably with your absolutely biased coverage of the events now. You neither understand nor appreciate that your primary responsibility as a “journalist” which you still claim to be, is to deliver the news without colouring it with your biased interpretation. Is there really any need now to remain as a journalist since you come across as nothing less than a worst politician? Why not formally join a party of your choice, and test your mettle in an election to either a state assembly or LokSabha. You will then know whether INDIA alliance is over or still breathing.

I hope such journalists never get invite to teach the students at any academic Institution with such vast experience of ground reports. There are any number of institutions in our country who would invite people with “experience” in order to tout their credentials of being different from others.

@total_woke_ Absolutely. It will be fit for a monumental Golden Fleece Award, if we ever think of instituting such an award in our country. Let it happen this year itself.

@ImtiazMadmood Ex-President Biden rewarded him with Medal of Freedom just before leaving his Presidency probably because he knew that the days of glory for Soros were numbered with Trump coming in.

@ArunudoyB Betting market is always optimistic in favour of who can make more money from the one it favours and promotes in its bets. AAP and its leaders and also their celebrity lawyers didn’t leave any stone unturned in their quest to do so at the expense of the Delhi taxpayers.

The BJP will have to get rid of its mentality of blaming previous government for non-performance and start to deliver on all promises made. It has to clear the baggage of AAP for not doing the developmental work in Delhi in last 11 years. That’s the only way to prove it is different from others and especially AAP when it comes to fulfilling the promises made to the electorate. It’s good that AK has been sent home to nurse his bloated ego and repent at leisure for what went wrong for him and his party. He has done more than enough damage single-handedly to the credibility of a new political party with the grand announcement that he made in 2014 to change the politics of the country. Now everyone knows how he transformed himself into the devil of a rotten politician with his corrupt policies and practices.

@jai_a_dehadrai Do you really think that such a commission of inquiry, if at all, would see the light of the day during the current ruling dispensation, given its huge reluctance to take action in all such matters? I have my doubts but I am prepared to be proven wrong.

The world is so convoluted and gone out of shape because of the false narratives and the strong prejudices to justify the status quo that nothing short of a political earthquake can hope to bring it back to some sanity. The empire of the vested interests will of course strike back and probably more ferociously than ever and the next few months will in all probability be full of hectic parleys from both sides to outdo each other in name-calling and abuses in a bid to influence public opinion and prevail over the other. But the world needs radical solutions and fresh perspectives on the old problems.

@AartiTikoo Our opposition parties, led by INC, are vocal in condemning the Trump action to deport these illegal aliens. Perfectly understood since they have to oppose Modi Government and show it in bad light. Not a bit surprising.

Those Indians who have been sent back by Trump Administeation for illegal entry into and stay in the US must not expect any sympathy after they land here. It doesn’t matter which state they come from since they tarnish country’s image and spoil our relations with the other country. The lure of living in the US can not be greater than their obligation to this country of their birth which has given them their basic identity. They are welcome to emigrate, but doing so illegally is a strict no no and punishable too. The opposition parties would no doubt oppose anything done legally and support illegal things since they have to sympathise with the law-breakers.
