@NWALegends @TODAYshow @alroker I had nothing to do with it, but wish I had thought of it. On the right day, of course. :-) Also, @alroker said Bob and Jackie are big Duke basketball fans. Not so; Bob pulls for NC State. He is really curious about who might have called that in to @TODAYshow. Quite the mystery.

Fake news! Bob Caudle confirms that their actual wedding anniversary is Jan 23 where they will indeed be married 76 years. And also, @alroker mentions Bob is a Duke basketball fan. Not so! Bob pulls for the NC State Wolfpack! Perhaps a rib?? :-) @TODAYshow

@bharemza @TimHornbaker @TNTHOF Thank you, Bryant. I'd absolutely love to come back to Waterloo again. It's just that it's an expensive trip for me and I'm fully retired now and mindful of my budget. But one day! I always enjoy your updates when you go.

I'm honored to be named the 2025 recipient of the Jim Melby Award from the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame. Joining the other great historians who have received this award, I am greatly appreciative, and I look forward to meeting everyone next July in Waterloo.

Oh my goodness! I am so honored and flattered to see Myles and Piper holding the Ten Pounds of Gold book. I always knew Santa Claus was an old NWA fan! Glad to see the next generation fans of old school NWA! You look great, kids!

I'm loving this series @ByMikeMooneyham has written about John Ringley. He was such an important part of the Mid-Atlantic Wrestling story during a pivotal transition period for the company after Jim Crockett Sr.'s death.

Mid-Atlantic Wrestling in the early 1970s. If you are into the details, you'll love this book. It covers it all. We can't recommend it enough. On the Gateway: "New Book by @AlGetzWrestling Charts Mid-Atlantic Wrestling: 1971-1973."

This book has to be seen to be believed. Tremendous work as usual from Al Getz. Review coming later on the Mid-Atlantic Gateway Archive.
