I have often submitted the view that, the liberty of Africa is in the hands of Africans. Even if we blame the West till the next century, it won't change anything. Africans must rise to take responsibility for the advancement of this continent.

"Ugo" the eagle represents excellence, glory, respect and honour in Igbo land. Its feathers are affixed to caps of title holders to symbolize honourable achievements - a concept known as “Ituru Ugo”. It inspires such names as Ugochukwu, Ugonna, Adaugo, Ugochinyere, Anyafulugo, Ugomma, Nnatugo, etc. Ndi Igbo revered the beautiful and symbolic bird, the Ugo. In Igbo culture, the eagle, or ugo, is a rare, beautiful, and highly symbolic bird. The Igbo consider the eagle to be the chief of birds. The eagle's feathers are used as status symbols and cultural markers for titled men. Here are some things to know about the eagle in Igbo culture: Names: Many Igbo names come from the eagle, including Ugochi, Ugomma, and Ugochukwu. The name Ugochukwu literally translates to "God's Eagle", which can also be interpreted as "Crown of God" or "Glory of God". Symbolism: The eagle is a unique creature that symbolizes many things. Feathers: In the past, successful men would put an eagle feather in their hair or cap to show their achievements. Adage: The Igbo have an adage that says, “Onye hụrụ ugo ṅụrịa maka na a dịghị ahụ ugo kwa daa” - which means "he who sees eagle should rejoice because it's not seen always". Red Cap: Chiefs in Igboland wear a red cap that represents authority, culture, and custom. The cap sometimes has an eagle feather on it to indicate higher rank. @Wizarab10 The frustrations of men lie in what they do not have. If you make one of the other ladies your girl, I guarantee U still won't be turned on. The fault is in you, not your girl. The grass is always greener on the other side; until you cross over to that side.
