@acidkeylime There's an ocean's-wide gap between intentional details and stylization in just the reference sheet alone. Hell, some people even prefer the artist to take creative liberties with some details. Just communicate and none of this is an issue istg

What's particularly upsetting to see is the implicit judgment of these artists as being bigoted or "problematic" just straight from the get go.

@DimitriStratkov Yeah that's how I view it too. I understand OP's argument if they were referring to an obvious detail in a ref sheet but it really comes off as looking for things to be angry about with minimal communication

@acidkeylime The issue here isn't an artist not being able to draw something, it's an artist drawing something in a way the client didn't like. If the client is particular about a specific detail, it's their responsibility to make it clear to the artist beforehand.
