seaweed brain mention, percabeth hug, percabeth scheduled movie date after the quest, the emotional tears when they thought they’d lose each other, it’s actually too much

he’s apologetic when he kisses her knee because of the injury, so she can’t connect with tennis through him anymore because art wants to retire. she’s appreciative of the gesture but she’s mourning the loss of both their careers, in my opinion.
that percabeth scene before percy sat in the chair is definitely the standout scene of the episode for me… if this is the caliber of emotion we’re getting from percabeth five episodes in, i’m scared for what’s next

thinking about challengers as per usual & why tashi didn’t reconcile with patrick in the years after her injury, but pursued art instead. we gotta speak on the tennis of it all 🎾 (a thread)
“hide from the heavens with me”, “you did not go over the wall”, the transitions to their younger selves… one of the best scenes in the entire bridgerton universe.
ngl i almost lost it when percy asked poseidon if he ever dreamt about sally. the emotion on both of their faces with the score in the background was too good!

percy jackson press tour has actually been the most entertaining & heartwarming thing to see, especially after the strikes. we got so much content. real promo is back.
annabeth invisible on the sidelines watching percy cook clarisse and the other ares kids, knowing she’ll get to go on a quest soon
#PercyJacksonAndTheOlympians
percy saying what chance does he have when annabeth doesn’t have an answer for something, he literally thinks she’s the smartest person alive 😭
#percyjackson
annabeth calling him seaweed brain, percy trusting and knowing annabeth is the best person to complete this quest, percy not even having to ask annabeth to save his mother, she just would, the TEARS WHEN HE SAT DOWN, IM NOT OKAY

HSMTMTS films with the speed of a CW show, has the budget of a Disney+ project & releases with the speed of an HBO show. it’s only flaw is the lack of promo of a Netflix original.
we can see this similarity in the film, when in the hotel, bc tashi expects art to beat patrick in the competition for her number. she knows art has had to work hard in a way that patrick has never needed to because of his natural talent. she expects more of art.
so although both art and patrick are players that tashi could be co-dependent to stay connected to tennis, i believe art was the better fit for her. they became the new “fire & ice” duo, and it worked. they built an dynasty together, and art is on his way to a grand slam.
