Today’s up was to tag 1000m/hour vertical pace for the first hour on a three hour hilly zone one and two Saturday trail running session. Calm and overcast, lots of chamois tracks, feeding on green growth on direct south faces in the subalpine. This is Switzerland. 🐐

Andes freeski mountaineering. Since 2017 I’ve annually made breaks away from the Himalaya to explore the volcanic peaks of the Andean Cordillera, which extends from Argentina and Chile up into Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. • The season is May to October (depending on where you’re going) and I think what appeals to me most is getting to explore on skis during a time of year when I’m usually trail running, climbing and waiting for Winter (yes of course running and climbing are enjoyable, but they certainly aren’t skiing). 🎥: Constanza Toro del Solar
