Positions took over 8 months and had a deluxe to reach 2.4B on Spotify. ES did that in 4 months. The level of competition is nowhere near the same, don't be mislead.

Sabrina fans are hilarious. Success doesn't equal quality. Short n sweet is cute but it's not winning any album category anytime soon and i say that while loving some songs in it. It's not a strong project.

Positions is her best album, the vocal layering is the best of her discography. The album is melodius and soothing, her voice is a candy, it's not about upbeat teen pop bait song, it's more than that. Lyrically not the best, but for the rest it is.

Streaming era, you either must have successful hits to stabilize the album or must have a lot of songs. ES is a short ass album, only 12 songs and the Boy is mine didn't work. Positions og has 14 songs + it had the deluxe after 3 months a half. ES will do fine with deluxe.

Ariana didn't have vinyl sales for the first week, Billie has. Billie literally promoted the album with 5 singles, the push on Spotify is insane. Longevity is better than a big first week and i doubt it will have Positions longevity in the US nor a number one single coming for 1B

Charts are irrelevant, look at Lovely from Billie and Khalid, it's a sleeper hit with no huge peak, never got radio support and so it barely chart. Result, in his way to be a 3 Billion song soon on Spotify, It's a massive hit on the long run.
WCBF is a WW hit and time will tell.

The problem is the two singles you mentionned have nothing to do with most of the album. Giaw and Ntltc are really good but Sw as a whole project is not really my favorite. All the pop hip hop pharel tracks are not my thing, too many skips. I prefer rnb Ariana, Positions superior
