An elderly woman and her adult daughter left the temporarily occupied territories of 🇺🇦 through the only humanitarian corridor, where our employee works.
This was made possible by the coordinated action of our Office and partners

Today I met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Ukraine Audencio Contreras Gonzalez.
We discussed the implementation of point 4 of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and another difficult tasks.

I found out about the death of Ukrainian POW, who was held in the detention centre in Russia.
I sent a letter to the Russian Ombudsman to get information about the circumstances of death. In addition, I informed the ICRC and the UN so that they could record the death of the POW.

Two years ago, Russians carried out a terrorist attack in Olenivka against Ukrainian POWs. More than 50 were killed and about 130 were injured
I call on the UN and the ICRC to fulfill their mandate and investigate this war crime
