@lenoreingram Thanks Lenore! Absolutely Psyche has been impacted...ten of our team members lost everything. The s/c is fine and we are caring for each other. I've been debating whether to stay on X...not for any political reasons but just time management. It's been restful to be off!

@gilbeaq I'm aligned with you on this. and I'd add that complex machines and production often rely on multiple parts that are only made by one group in the world. Once the innovators are lost, the production can't be re-created.

He’s talking O’Neill cylinders, an idea I love. And resources past Mars are only viable if you can sell them to others out there (not back at Earth, transport too expensive). So it’s a far distant plan.
