Orlando City continued its preparations for the 2025 campaign, hosting CF Montréal after 90 minutes in a Season Ticket Member exclusive match at Inter&Co Stadium yesterday. Following the scrimmage, midfielder Shak Mohammed spoke with media and gave his thoughts on the matchup. According to @Nabil_djellit from @Europe1 Algerian U-20 CB Noham Abdellaoui is leaving Serie A Primavera’s Genoa for MLS. He comes from the Saint-Etienne academy in 🇫🇷 which is one of the top youth academies in French Football. According to source, the 20 yr. old is arriving to #OrlandoCityB on a one-season contract. Hello, Luis here. Monday we will be live, time is TBD. Thank you for your support. IMO, you can win all preseason scrimmages and still start the season badly, as Orlando has shown in the past. Also, you can “lose” some scrimmages and also start your season on the right foot. Scrimmages are that, just a way for the coaching staff to try new players, new tactics, and for the players get rhythm before the season starts. IMO, you can’t predict how the team will perform this season, based on the results of a few preseason matchups. I trust what the coaching staff is doing. What I can tell you, based on the scrimmages, is that OCB’s core from last year, are ready to have minutes this MLS season and they aren’t afraid to take on the task given, no matter who the opponent is.
