Long footage can be overwhelming to look at, that's why I break it down into 30 segments before I start cutting.
After each segment I take a 5 min break to refresh.
Helps so much with staying focused, organized, and not feeling stressed. 📈

Highly recommend creating a shortcut for color labels.
Something as simple as this can help save lots of time during the cutting phase.
Blue (SHIFT+Z) = Good cuts
Yellow (SHIFT+C) = Cuts I'm unsure of
Violet (SHIFT+V) = Raw Footage to be cut

Editors, remember to sign contracts with ANY new client, no matter how minor it may be.
Be sure to include a payment deadline, which then after you start charging interest, so a client doesn't take months to pay you!
