I’m not one to share personal news but yesterday I went into surgery to have my fallopian tubes removed due to my endometriosis. (This would render me infertile).
The NHS surgeons and team managed to save both my fallopians tubes and remove a large portion of my stage 3 endo.💙

I had to go into hospital alone and surgery alone due to COVID regulations.

Women are working, providing for themselves…
Many men have not adapted to this. They’re still expecting a partner to homemake and nurture whilst contributing 50% financially.
there’s an abundance of good women with good careers out there, it’s harder for high income women to find suitable men ironically.

This is a narrow sighted view of life. As a woman you cannot tactically make such a big decision just to further your career. Instead workplaces should be more accommodating to new mothers of all ages and be inclusive. ✌️ Things like this are irritating.

Ladies please check your symptoms if you have painful periods and heavy bleeding and don’t allow your GP to dismiss this as “normal”. 🙏🏽
i think uterine fibroids are so severely under-diagnosed because there’s a mentality that having a period means you’re healthy and that heavy bleeding and blinding cramps are just the price you pay for being able to reproduce.

So I used Tutorials Dojo online course and the practise exams! I also found some practise questions on the AWS skills builder website! I also had access to cloud guru via work so used that course to revise!
Practise exams were key to passing!!!

Also make a note of all your roles and responsibilities at your current role. As you're given new opportunities/exposure keep adding to the list. This will make things a lot easier when it comes to updating your CV and LinkedIn and talking through your experience! ✨
Career tip - once settled in your role, search LinkedIn for jobs at your next desired salary/position and make sure your work objectives align so that when you’re ready to move you can walk right into the role.

In some instances you do, BUT doing someone's online course is never going to count towards anything.
You need an accredited certification (PMI PMP, Axelos PRINCE2, APM PMQ, CSM, SAFe). Companies want recognised qualifications.
Maybe its just me. But you don't need qualifications to become a project/programme manager. Stop falling for that scam.
