🚨🧵 Let's talk about hunger in the UK. Parents are skipping meals so their kids can eat. People are frightened about rising energy bills. We've even heard from people who are surviving on sugary tea for days because they don't have enough money for food. This isn't right.

We want to reiterate our support of the #GuaranteeOurEssentials campaign. We believe Universal Credit must always protect people from going without life's basics. No one should be left struggling to afford essentials
❗ 77% of people claiming Universal Credit and disability benefits have gone without essentials in the last 6 months. Cuts to disability support risk pushing even more people deeper into poverty. We cannot let this happen. Email your MP and urge them to call on the PM to think
