Fascinating tidbit from @JasonLeopold's #FOIA newsletter today: @elonmusk has said all government data should be public. But he sought to keep info about the SEC charges against him private. He's also advocated for transparency as @DOGE tears up federal spending. But I've only seen a list of the cuts and totals. Has he released detailed data of each cancelled contract? I want 'em!
There should be no need for FOIA requests. All government data should be default public for maximum transparency.
