And just like that - after over 8 years of continuous service. I handed in my notice to the NHS with no job lined up afterwards. Blood sweat and many many tears later it feels totally bitter sweet as I know this is mainly down to the cancer that is the Tory government.

So I got my first NHS pay rise (of 3%) today. It was backdated from April. I was also told that because of this they would deduct total extra money given to me because of my level of experience since 2020. So my net pay rise was 50% less than it would have been. What a world man

Went past a café in Paris that my mother and grandmother and I had lunch at a few years back now (April 2015). At the time I didn’t realise she wouldn’t be with us just a few months later. Nostalgia of the good times but also a painful memory. Grieving never gets easier. 🥀
