Had some white voters not been comfortable voting for someone with a documented history of sexism, sexual harassment, racism, xenophobia, a checkered financial history and no government or foreign policy experience to speak of we wouldn’t be here.
Had black voters shown up for Clinton in the same numbers they showed up for Obama in 2012, she'd have carried Michigan by 1.5 points, almost certainly Pennsylvania too, probably Wisconsin.
