@zem42 Between this and re-orging Google Colab out of Research into Cloud a few months back (directly causing a few leads to exit including myself), it really feels like some execs there are just trying to shoot themselves in the foot now.

@thechrisperry @yar_vol @GoogleColab @marissamayer Everything I learned about design was basically from the Marissa era, so even if she's not a fan, she directly inspired a large fraction of the product. I have nothing but respect for her. :)

@thechrisperry For what it's worth though, the suicide rate in tech isn't very low... bad choices made by tech leadership, especially when people aren't being treated like people, do contribute to buried bodies.
