We are honored & humbled to share that we are officially at 100,000 pieces of litter picked up!!! That is 100k less pieces of “waste” polluting our soils, waters, and communities. We started this project to compensate people to take care of the planet and the response has been extremely encouraging ♻️ Thanks to the 200+ people across 14 countries that have participated in a @litter_token pickup. Thanks as well to @gitcoin @climate_program for providing us with the funding needed to reach this milestone. And thanks to everyone that follows and supports this account, this project was started grassroots on social media and is proof that young people can come together to make significant change in the world 🌎🌍🌏 Next goal: 1,000,000 pieces of litter picked up 🎯

674 pieces of trash are collected along Kuchikau community, Masaka, Karu, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. 🇳🇬 Every little bit helps! Today's litter cleanup wouldn't have been possible without the hardwork and dedication of our wonderful volunteers. Their efforts are making a real difference in our environment. Thank you! 🙏🎉

Happy Holidays! 🎉 Thank you to our community moderator, Lany for organizing the group pick up. The earnings from this helped provide small gifts for the children. They were able to collect 1992 pieces in Cabasaan, Philippines.🇵🇭 To all Litter Community Token members thank you for helping in cleaning our environment, hope it will continue this year. Some solutions are transparent waste supply chains, more capital being invested into recycling facilities and more creative recycling methods. Blockchain can certainly help with this!
