As for security: Data in bundler in their current state are not private. We plan to bake in some encryption to address in either the data format or use solutions like lit to solve it.

Liteseed is a DePIN. Basically a bunch of bundler nodes register on AO with a stake to build a network. Each bundler that uploads a data item correctly is rewarded. Otherwise slashed if it false below a reputation.

. However, bundlers are hard both to host and scale. This means you either self host or trust a third party. Both of which are neither convenient nor permissionless.

Yes, it's more of a proxy for turbo right now. We can't really send rewards to bundler runners till AO is a Testnet.
The node we are building seeds the network directly but we are also looking into keeping compatibility with existing bundlers. Libraries like arbundles and goar
