@VTDukefan The unbalanced schedules have been frustrating for quite a while now. There have been multiple years where Duke has played that year’s other top teams in the league 2x and UNC has played them only once.

Feel better, Coop! Hope they can get him a bit of rest and back to his usual self. Hard to be sick and do everyday things, let alone play a sport at the highest level.
Update - The wear and tear of the season and battling a bug for a couple of weeks have affected Cooper Flagg, per Jon Scheyer. The staff's goal is to get him rejuvenated and fresh and to help him recover

@CalannioDuke @DukeFansZone TBH, Clemson could have been ranked already. I think they were the top “also getting votes” team just prior to the Ga Tech loss. And even really good teams will pick up a loss at some point in conference play.

@M_Bulger19 💯Also? He's grown a ton already. And the turnovers early in the season were about dribbling into trouble. Last night's was obviously about a wet court.

Sometimes you learn more from a loss than a win. There can be a silver lining to not going into the postseason on a ridiculous win streak. Clemson deserved to win. Also? Player safety is actually important and having one kid with a Swiffer sweep only the baseline is not okay.

@PositiveDukeFan I don’t think I even saw the play originally. I thought Clemson hit 1 of 2 to tie the game (and I swear the score runner on the broadcast said the same), and then when Duke inbounded they were suddenly down 2.

@JMannsTakes Replay apparently shows they wiped the floor…on the baseline only. Seems even worse - you wipe the floor, but do it badly.

Look. Clemson deserved this win. But that doesn’t mean the person wiping the floor only cleaning up the baseline is okay. That’s a recipe for someone getting hurt. Could have been a Clemson player too. Lucky Cooper wasn’t injured.
