Property taxes are local, not state. So we’d need to do a constitutional amendment (requires 60% of voters to approve) to eliminate them (which I would support) or even to reform/lower them… We should put the boldest amendment on the ballot that has a chance of getting that 60%… I agree that taxing land/property is the more oppressive and ineffective form of taxation…

To: @PeteHegseth I resigned from the Army in 2022 after 19+ years of active service. I resigned for a reason & that reason remains unresolved. Why would I now return to service? I left because as I said in my resignation letter below, I knew "the values of senior leaders within the Department of Defense do not align with my own." It was clear at that time DoD leaders valued their careers & reputations over the Constitution, rule of law, unit readiness, or troop welfare. I could no longer reconcile my service with the oath I had taken to support and defend the Constitution. Were I to remain in uniform, I felt I'd be participating in the 'internal military component' of the much larger 'covid op.' I felt that to remain in service & take a paycheck just to qualify a short time later for a retirement pension - while knowing what the military was involved in - would be to accept blood money. So I walked away. DoD's most recent actions continue to confirm the decision I made then. Nothing has fundamentally changed within that sick institution. It's still led by criminals & cowards intent on covering for the regime's unlawful activities. SECDEF- the latest memos from you & your Under Secretary for Personnel & Readiness are weak, insincere, & obfuscate the truth & scope of the military covid shot mandate. These memos (included below) appear to be the words of regime apparatchiks & their puppets who are more concerned with the appearance of actions than they are with the actual effects of those actions. Because you refuse to characterize the mandate as unlawful (despite curiously referring to the "experimental vaccine" 🤔), you appear to be evading the need for true accountability or sufficiently comprehensive measures of redress for all affected. This is a mockery of the Constitution & rule of law. It desecrates the names & contributions of so many brave Americans that have worn the uniform & fought for the very ideals that DoD leadership now continues to oppose. This doesn't help to heal the widespread moral injury experienced by the military community. Rather, it represents one more wound contributing to that moral injury. I haven't forgotten that Americans were killed, plundered, & otherwise harmed by other Americans during the covid op. The military component of that op (both internally via the mandate & externally via the Warp Speed response) represents one of the darkest chapters of the covid story of terror.
