After trading memecoins and DeFi for 3+ years, here are 5 lessons I wish I learnt earlier especially if you are playing with low liquidity. 1. Take concentrated bets, stop dabbling from one coin or NFTs to the other, you can’t win that game. 2. If the profit is good enough for a screenshot, then it’s time to sell 3. More money have been made bidding higher highs than trying to catch the bottom. Follow the tide, leave the 100x low cap plays to whales. Join when the coast is clear and the community is still standing. 4. The phrase “be early” is a myth and a two-sided coin. 90% of what you are early on eventually rugs, only the 10% moons. Therefore, if you don’t have liquidity, your best bet is to research, check the daily community interactions, check if price ranges at a solid level, that means jeets are out and team is not dumping. Only then should you do number 1 above. Many other metrics beyond these, but these are core. 5. Once you are reasonably up, always take profits and leave a considerable moonbag. No one has ever gone broke taking initials and profits. You are not the dev, even the most amazing projects can crumble at the slightest fud. Market crash can happen (FTX, LUNA). You can’t TA this things. If you got to this point, I appreciate it. And you deserve a bonus; here’s for sticking to the end. Bonus: This might be the make it all back cycle before crypto goes mainstream. Hence make sure to preserve your liquidity and dont FOMO, believe me there’s always another trade, and another one and after that another one. I think you get it drill.
