The problem is that the DA thinks that clean audits alone equate to good governance. The DA deliberately chooses to neglect service delivery in areas that white people do not reside in.

I live in one too and I think they are doing the basics well enough - they give feedback on whatsapp messages even when things aren’t fixed quickly you know what’s happening. They organise community meetings. It’s just the basics and the anc fails to do even that unfortunately

The alarm bell has ALWAYS been there. In 2007-8 only 7 or so municipalities got clean audits. A massive effort was put to amend the Public Audit Act. Moss Phakoe a cllr who submitted a dossier on Rustenburg corruption to ANC top 6 was killed in 2009. Ramaphosa was NEC member.
