På så vis minskar man mängden svenskar som är bekanta med försvarets nya eldhandvapen, som är AR-15-varianter, och försämrar svensk förmåga.

@chairmanwon Interesting, maybe there are different versions of the FCU. I have not noticed any difference when I've seen them. I have for example shot a match with the FCU from a manual safety p320 in my X5, replacing just the safety lever.

@chairmanwon But I can't see why your current design wouldn't work? Everything is the same except for the safety lever.

@chairmanwon I just had a look at my p320, with a grip weight, and it might be possible to make a version that works with that too. It might not fit as neat thought.

So for a competition gun it wouldn't really be an issue if was replaceable, as reloading on an empty magazine isn't super common during competition. For a carry gun it's worse, if you reload on an empty magazine, you probably need the gun to work.

@LightInk744 @chairmanwon Yes it's an incredibly stupid design choice. Let's hope Sig creates a way to replace it. It should be possible to fix it, and the responsible thing for Sig would be to engineer a fix and apply it for free.

@high_in_seattle @chairmanwon It is mainly an issue during slide lock reloads, so if you don't do a ton of those it's unlikely to happen quickly. I have a few tens of thousands of rounds through one of mine and it is only slightly bent. I'm still scared of it happening, and not being able to replace it sucks.

@chairmanwon This is also similar to how it works in the P226, so why they didn't go with a similar aproach is unbelievable to me. I wonder if you could create a sear housing for the p320 that could acommodate the p226 ejector, maybe you would need to drill an extra hole in the ejector.

@Backyardfarmer3 @saifedean @_MarkEdward_ @hodlonaut When I was competing in a physical sport this was well known by all. I'm sure there must be studies given how established this information was among competitors and coaches. But I'm not aware of any specific study I could point to.

@_jonasschnelli_ @TuurDemeester She failed the gender eligibility requirements and the only requirement is that you don't have any Y chromosomes. Hence it is fairly certain that she does. The Y chromosomes give her an unfair advantage. Her gender identity or sexual orientation is irrelevant.
