1. LIGHTSUM’s mistreatment started very early on in their career when Cube debuted them in June 2021. Cube debuted LIGHTSUM amidst Former (G)I-DLE member Seo Soojin’s controversy as they needed another girl group to rely on whilst (G)I-DLE was on hiatus do to the controversy.

You might be thinking, what does this have to do with mistreatment? Well, due to the lack of (G)I-DLE releases, Cube RUSHED LIGHTSUM’s debut and gave them a single album with a low budget MV, and an outdated sound which was not well received by the public.
