We're the UK's oldest LGBT charity, set up to provide counselling to the LGBTQ+ community which it continues to do today. It was started up as an offshoot of the Campaign for Homosexual Equality, the first British gay activist group, before becoming its own registered charity.

We've added our name to this letter to new Equalities Ministers who will oversee the legislation to #BanConversionTherapy We hope to see swift progress from the new Government; LGBTQ+ people have had to wait too long.
Over 50+ @BanCTorg members have written to congratulate new Equality Minister @NiaGriffithMP & Lords Spokesperson on Equalities @Lord_Collins on their appointments. They will oversee legislation to ban #conversionpractices It's time we eradicated these practices once & for all!
