From July to January, remittances jumped 32% YoY, totaling 20.8 billion dollars, showing strong growth in inflows.
Pakistan Workers Remittances continue to surge - up a massive 25% YoY in January to $3bn (monthly avg. $3bn). Cumulative for Jul-Jan25 surged to $20.8bn, up 32% YoY. At this rate, the full-year number will cross a record $35bn, thereby providing support to country's externals.
