Met a tourist the other day: travelling alone as a single lady, she's been up to Trinco, and back down to where we met in Galle, all on the bus! Had no issues on her way, and couldn't profess enough love for the island. Reminded me why I moved here - very wholesome!

A few months back, this happy girl had her legs broken by a falling branch. The team at Sri Gemunu hotel spent weeks nursing; feeding her by hand as she literally couldn't move!
Today she's made a full recovery, and spends her days pottering around her new home.

All over the world there are scammers, schemers and generally distasteful folk who prey on the gullible; intnl tourists are an easy target.
There aren't many spots in the world where this level of kindness is commonplace, though.
