Last week staff from @CCAWS1 and @DPIAcharity attended our training session on best practice when working with interpreters. An extremely useful session, made possible by the Volunteering Wales main grant @WCVA. Get in touch if you'd be interested in attending it in the new year.

Great feedback about our recent interpreting skills workshop: "Thanks for organising... Zora is an excellent tutor. The role play was an eye opener and an extremely useful exercise to do". Having opportunities like this to consolidate skills and learning is so valuable @WCVACymru

Yesterday, existing members of @letsinterpret gave a warm welcome to our new group of trainee interpreters. Most of our training takes place online so it's always great to be able to meet in person. The Volunteering Wales Main Grant is enabling us to do this more often @WCVACymru

Some really inspiring stories at the #IWD2024 celebrations at @SRCDC_Cardiff today. Thank you Latifa for giving a wonderful talk about the confidence and skills you've gained from being involved in the Let's Interpret project. Happy #InternationalWomensDay to all of our members!
It was a pleasure to attend @SRCDC_Cardiff 's #InternationalWomensDay event in #Riverside. Their #NationalLottery funded Helping Working Families project offers wide-ranging support to women in their community, and it was brilliant to be a part of their celebrations today.
