"Devolution has elevated political pygmies to positions of power and influence."
Because I'm a working class Tory somebody on here asked: "what the hell have you got in common with Jacob Rees-Mogg". He was right, hardly anything.
But I have more in common with him than I do with the likes of Rayner, Claudia Webbe & Corbyn.
For one, I don't hate Britain.
The United Kingdom has banned Aeroflot from its airspace but what about the EU?
The Russian national carrier is still operating in EU countries. We are really seeing what the EU are made of in times of crisis.
I was brought up in a WeIsh VaIIeys' socialist household in the 70s/80, now all my family have left Labour.
It's been hijacked by little wealthy student socialists like Corbyn, Champaign socialists, & rough stupid people.
Many of us decent working class voters now vote Tory.
The Channel has become a sort of new Bermuda Triangle. All dinghies are working fine on the French side but are in need of immediate rescue once they come to the edge of British waters. Strange.
Don't eat in pubs much:
Pint of coke: £4
Half of coke: £3.60
Two cheese sandwiches: £19-90
Is this normal for a bog standard pub?
The wife has said if I mention that a half of coke was £3.60 again, she'll leave me!!
NHS spends £40m a year on 800 'diversity officers' as furious campaigners argue money could be spent on extra 1,200 nurses as they demand resources focus on frontline services...
I'm not a Boris fan, I just know he's a million times better than socialism or the likes of Theresa May.
But I have to say, Boris Johnson is the only leader that is giving real leadership during this crisis. The EU lot are proving gutless.
Cometh the hour, cometh the man!?
I'm a council estate boy. Dad was a striking miner. It's in my DNA to vote Labour—it's who I am. But I realised a long time ago that socialists are self-serving clowns who hate us. Control freaks, dangerous and economic dullards. The worst of people. Now others are seeing it too.
It's pretty sick isn't it, when we're being told there's no money and our taxes will have to rise. 👇
Ed Miliband says Labour will honour pledge of £11.6bn in overseas climate aid.
Net migration was 672,000 this year.

Excellent piece by Lee Anderson about Labour.

"Keir Starmer can’t even say what a woman is."
Government hands Australian firm £1.6 BILLION contract to supply asylum barges...
That's money lost to schools and the NHS. This government makes me sick. Labour would be even worse.
It's a dangerous and violent world out there.
And the dogooders, socialists and anti-British lot would love to ruin this country by inviting most of that world here.
This amazing lady is right.
Multiculturalism has failed.
LABOUR in Wales
- Welsh Labour nationalised the railways
- Result: Wales has ‘worst rail services in the UK’
Don't ever forget that LABOUR already run a UK country...
“I’m surrounded by farmers and plasterers and brickies and butchers and all I hear, is that there’s too much immigration. But if they say this out loud, or go on a march, they are told by the London elite that they're far-right extremists or racist.”
Turnout only in Wakefiled was 39% compared to 64% in 2019 General Election. People do not want Labour, they just want a Tory government to stop behaving like Labour.
From today - December 17 - Welsh drivers who break the new 20mph limit will be fined. Labour wishes to encourage us to walk or cycle more.
Right.👇After a half-mile uphill walk in the wind and rain, I'm on the main road. Tesco is 5 miles that way. No pavements. A busy 'A' road.
The long road to Tesco.
A wide straight road that we now have to do at 20mph - no pedestrains, no cyclists - just creeping along for the next 2 miles, constantly looking at the speedometer, slower than some people can run.

Apparently there's 90k children in extreme poverty in Wales.
And in another story, the Welsh Labour govt has recently lost £155 million from account mismanagement (as a result of the Welsh Government’s underspend in 2020-21).
The Welsh government is full of talentless social workers and left-wing idiots. Everything it touch, it ruins - railways, airports, the NHS, education - and now it's a bank.
"Welsh Government plans for a community bank are derailed..."
I'm off Twitter for a while. Recently my Tweets seem to be all political and I'm finding it negative and tiring. Basically in Wales we now live in a communist state where the govt totally ignores its people's wishes (eg 20mph roads) and this has to be fought. But time off needed.

The long road to Tesco... 2 miles creeping along at 20mph... impossible to do keep under that speed over such distances even when trying your best... very difficult to pass lines of parked cars. No kids play along such main roads.
Welcome to socialist Wales.
@JMPSimor
When will the Labour Party actually get why they are hemorrhaging their working class support?? Reading the above, for some reason I don't think it will be tomorrow morning. Honesty and decency indeed; it's beyond parody.
LABOUR in Wales...
The 20mph rollout will cost over £32m and the sudden cancellation of all road building, as well as hindering Wales’ economic development, wasted a further £24m on unfinished projects.
Devolution is a disaster for Wales
Mark Drakeford is bringing Wales to its knees
"Devolution has elevated political pygmies to positions of power and influence..."
I remember the last time a union leader tried to bring down a Tory govt. Scargill's picket lines. We never had a strike ballot and you stay out or get attacked by the millitants. Scargill collected his big wage and my mother sold her wedding ring to put food on the table. 1984/85
In Wales, we have the longest NHS waiting lists, no dentists, and high child poverty under a Welsh Labour govt.
Yet, our Labour govt's flagship policy is to let thousands more poor people into Wales, anyone who wants to come here, no questions asked.
Stay poor under Labour!!
LABOUR insisted we lockdown in 2020 and 2021, they wanted more severe and longer lockdowns. Now in 2022, they don't seem to understand that these lockdowns have to be paid for.
This is typical LABOUR PARTY economics. Imagine them in government.
When I stopped voting Labour in the 1990s, family, etc., would often say: "you've forgotten where you come from."
Oddly, nobody says that anymore.
I think everyone now realises that it's actually the Labour Party that's forgotten where it's come from!

@piersmorgan
That's right. The wife & I now have a garden overlooking fields and a 5-bed house. 30-years ago I would have been stuck inside a tiny house, six of us, with nothing but an angry violent drunk grandfather that made life hell - lockdown would have been dreadful then.
It's only taxpayers' money 👇
A Cardiff bike hire scheme championed by the Welsh Government has been scrapped after more than 3,000 bicycles were stolen or vandalised.
Welsh Labour gave the Nextbike project £800,000 via a green transport scheme in 2018.
Talking to wife, we're seriously considering moving out of Wales. I don't think people with homes in the higher council tax bands who have no inheritances coming or good pensions, have much of a future here. We are always going to be targeted by our far-left Welsh Labour govt.
LABOUR in Wales
Breaking news... pubs, shops and restaurants in Wales face a rate hike after the Welsh Government fails to match the support in England.

What incompetent monsters we have running Wales.

Just phoned my parents. My mother just described the 20mph limits as a misery because it's so slow and everywhere.
Also, where they are the roads signs are such a jumble of different limits that it's very confusing.
It's absolute lunacy. We must end Devolution!!

Revealed: The report that shows Labour can't be trusted to run the NHS... How corrupt bosses at Wales's biggest public body faked documents and misled auditors to cover up millions in reckless spending...
Last election post:
My dad was a striking miner.
My mother was a Labour Party member for 20 years.
I was brought up on a deprived Welsh Valleys' council estate.
We were all socialists. Even the cat.
And I loathe Labour.
Why?
Because I know what they are!!
(Back at 6pm 😃)
Looking at the Tory leadership candidates and thinking which one is best to lead us into the future and keep the enemy within, Labour, from ever gaining power and I have to say... I'm already missing Boris.
All of us in Wales need to stand with our farmers.
So many of us now have a common enemy: our very own Welsh government.
I believe Welsh Labour now has no limits or conscience about the hardships caused when pushing an agenda. Net zero and socialism trumps people every time!
Let's be honest about this, Boy George is getting a free pass in the jungle because he's a leftie. Leftie's only hate Tories and let fellow lefties get away with anything.
@HeydonProwse
This is sad. The wife and I have not been out for 10 or so days now because she has underlying health issues. If people like this don't help by social distancing themselves we'll be stuck indoors for the rest of the year.
Welsh Government is slammed over astonishing 'waste of public money' for rolling out £20m basic income pilot scheme handing teenagers £1,600-a-MONTH to do NOTHING...
The quality in Welsh politics is abysmal. People who couldn’t run a shoe shop are given millions to play business with. Add to it their leftie, levelling-down politics. I’m not sure how much further down Wales can be dragged. If I were younger, I’d move.
Just a reminder of how close that 1997 Welsh Devolution vote was. Nearly 30 years ago.
50.3% for, 49.7% against.
With only half the registered voters bothering to vote.
People voting then for the unknown, now know.
What a disaster it has been. What an ongoing disaster it is.
If you're holidaying in Wales remember not to go above 20mph and also bring your own booze.
The Welsh govt has set a minimum unit price for alcohol as we cannot be trusted to drink responsibly.

PLAID CYMRU: 194,811 - 4 seats
LIB DEMS: 85,911 - 1 seat
It's been great for us in Wales to rejoice in the news of Mark Drakeford's resignation.
Now the realisation is setting in about which arrogant, incompetent, hard-left politician will replace him.
The only real thing to celebrate in Wales will be the end of Devolution.
Statues of 'old white men' like the Duke of Wellington and Admiral Lord Nelson could be destroyed because they may be 'offensive' to the 'diverse modern public', Welsh government advises.

My dad, a former miner, and my mother a former Labour Party member have both said they will never vote Labour again. They've been voting Labour since the early 1960s.
Labour have truly lost their way, it's only London and South Wales that are keeping them afloat.
I am not sure why pensioners with a nice home they've worked hard for should be further financially punished for that by the Welsh government 👇
The Welsh Government plans to increase the burden on the 450,000 people who pay council tax above Band D.

Ha. Wales with the highest poverty in the UK and see how the Welsh Labour government throws its money away and misspends it. Be warned people... Wales is a very real working example of Labour's priorities and competence in govt.
LABOUR'S decision to pursue a tourism tax is another example of their backward thinking as regards to supporting the Welsh economy. They totally ignore feedback from the tourism industry despite one in seven Welsh jobs relying on the tourism sector.
Wales missed out on significant funds at the height of the pandemic because of the Welsh government's "poor" management of its accounts, a new report has found.

Drakeford says there's 'nothing unfair' about taxing holiday homes
All well and good but the realities are tourism will be hit massively and most holiday homes are either unsuitable or unaffordable to locals anyway. And locals that will now lose tourism.
If the NHS is safe in Labour's hands how come so many people I know in West WaIes have had to go private to get treatment that they cannot get under the Welsh NHS.
No money for the NHS? Well, they always find the money for climate change and more politicians.
@jonlis1
Not me, I Iive in Wales. It was the Labour Party and Welsh socialist govt that made an ars-e of our COVID nightmare. That doesn't fit with the agenda tho does it.
The overall number waiting for NHS treatment in Wales is 761,111, almost one-quarter of the country's population.
AND I BET EVERY ONE of them wakes up each morning worrying about climate change and glad the Welsh govt is making it their top priority.
I don't care about my recent abuse from socialists but I do care about their drive to get Labour into power.
Can you imagine the doors to dangerous undocumented immigration kicked wide open? And the UK run like Wales, which has the worst child poverty & NHS in the UK.

Yes. I voted Tory in 2019, the first time ever as I come from a Welsh Valleys working class Labour voting family - I felt sick & weak-kneed doing so but I disliked Corbyn that much.
Now foul MPs like Neil are turning me into a regular Tory voter & I won't feel sick next time.
First house and 5th house (now in 6th). Worked hard for 30 yrs to move up the ladder - no massive salaries, no inheritances - and paid off the mortgage aged 48. Always lived within our means and now going to be hit by Welsh Labour with increased council taxes for working hard.
