I am seriously starting to wonder whether most of the loud Zionists on this platform are mentally ill.
Innocent people are being slaughtered in their name as we speak, but they couldn't care less.
They care only about The Project.
They lack normal human empathy.
I can't afford to live in London, but was born and have deep family roots there, and it's the only place I feel truly at home.
Presumably I have a natural right to steal the house of a more recent resident.
I have no proof of course but - given the intelligence in Israel's possession beforehand, its reaction on the day, and its genocidal behaviour since - I find the claim that Oct 7 was allowed to happen perfectly plausible.
It is a legitimate opinion, not a conspiracy theory.
We sometimes joke about Starmer, but in my opinion he is the most dangerous politician of my lifetime. Worse than Thatcher, worse than Blair.
He has in 6 years seen off a resurgent left in parliamentary terms, and effectively reduced Britain to a one-party state.
The contrast between
@BBCNews
coverage of the jostling of Starmer, and the treatment of Corbyn over a period of years is too much, it really is. Surely one doesn't need to be a fan of Corbyn to see that.
TAO is furious with the world's feminists because they aren't up in arms over something she says took place, but of which she can offer no evidence whatsoever, nor even cite a source.
Pathetic, barrel-dredging stuff.
So come on,
@Keir_Starmer
, famous lawyer, explain forensically why you disagree with Amnesty International's finding that Israel's treatment of Palestinians amounts to apartheid.
What troubles me most about the egregious slanders of Corbyn is not so much that they happened, as that so many people believed them, without any exercise whatsoever of caution or scepticism.
The more I see of Israel's actions and the more I hear from its defenders on here, the more horrified I am that Zionists have been allowed to get away with so much for so long. They are literally incapable of regarding others' humanity as equal to their own.
Starmer hasn't just alienated the left, he's made very angry enemies of us. I am now one hundred percent convinced that Starmer's party is far more of a threat than the Tories to the long term prospects for the kind of radical social change that I want to see.
Whatever you think of Corbyn, it's undeniable that he inspired hope that a much better world is realistically possible. Starmer's mission has been to destroy that hope, to get us to accept meekly the status quo in all but minor detail.
I vow to do whatever is in my power to bring down the hollow sham that is
@UKLabour
.
Before you come out with your "Tory enabler" shite, remember one thing:
This is a fight Starmer picked.
Had a chat with a friend yesterday who really does believe that Starmer is only pretending to have moved Labour to the right in order to get elected, and that once in office he will move back to the left.
It's like buying a tin of beans because you think it contains carrots.
I admit Angele Rayner had me fooled for a while. I believed she was an authentic working class voice. Turned out to be just another fake Labour political grifter interested only in her own advancement.
I am tired of the ubiquitous "hard working families" trope from both Tories and Labour. What about those who cannot work, or who don't have the support network of a family? In a civilised society shouldn't they be a priority?
Does anyone seriously doubt that what Israel is doing will be radicalising Palestinians - and not just Palestinians - far quicker than it is degrading Hamas's capabilities.
Serious question: does Israel wish to be hated?
After the lies they told about Iraq, and Corbyn, to name just 2 subjects, I regard everything our media say about the Ukraine situation with very great scepticism. That is, if I can't avoid it altogether.
Fascism is back in the heart of Europe. This wasn't what my late father's generation fought for in WW2. Where did it go wrong? When did we fall asleep?
Who is actually in control of
@uklabour
?
Because it's obviously not the members.
Is Starmer simply a petty despot, or is he acting under orders, and if so, whose?
I hate to break it to rejoiners, but Starmer's not your man. His only interest in the EU membership question was as a way to throw GE2019. It's a dead issue for him now.
What is the average age of IDF soldiers?
Because it looks as though they are mostly under-trained jumpy teenagers. Not the kind of people you want to throw into urban combat.
I wonder how near their morale is to cracking.
The NHS isn't a principle to be fought for; it's a communal resource of immense value which already belongs to us, but which is being stolen, bit by bit, in front of our eyes.
So, just to be clear, our government is Good, therefore protesting against it is Bad, but Russia's government is Bad, therefore protesting against it is Good.
Have I got this right?
By the way, Starmer trolls, if Labour wants my vote it's up to the the party, not me, to come up with a policy agenda that I can support. That's the way it works. A good start is to know who you are and what you believe in, which few of you seem to.
The credibility of the proposition that Starmer and other members of the Labour Party are acting for a foreign power increased dramatically today.
The security services should be taking it seriously.
@Imrankhan596
Those, of course, but mainly his ruthless authoritarianism and total lack of commitment to political rights and freedoms. His instincts are anti-democratic, not surprising perhaps given his membership of the Trilateral Commission.
So, if an issue has been weaponised to attack you, defending yourself by calling out the weaponisation is weaponising the issue against the original weaponisers. I see.
The politicians I remember from my youth were giants compared to the current crop. Across the spectrum, even those whose politics I detested.
What happened?
Many of those marching on Saturday will be Jewish. Many more who are old enough will have marched against Blair's illegal Iraq war, and protested against and boycotted apartheid South Africa.
Marching to end slaughter and oppression is not antisemitic.
This is one of the most absurd claims I've ever heard a politician make. GG stood on a solidly anti-Labour pro-Palestine platform.
Starmer says those votes would have gone to the Labour candidate if official support hadn't been withdrawn.
The only reason controversial left-winger George Galloway won the Rochdale by-election is "because Labour didn't stand," says party leader Sir Keir Starmer.
Keir Starmer represents the death of hope for anything significantly better.
It's important that people understand that before sending their votes his way.
He's not getting mine. I'm not giving up on hope.
It's "working people" all the way with Labour now isn't it. Not the working class, not the retired, not people who can't work for whatever reason. My value is to be defined in economic terms.
So let's be clear, it's fine for
@uklabour
to exploit racism if it will get them the votes, because winning power is the name of the game?
Do I have that right?
If Starmer supporters think they can insult me into supporting him, they are sadly mistaken. Why do they never make an actual case for his leadership? If they had one, they would. Getting the Tories out is the case for replacing Starmer, not supporting him.
"Progressive alliance" folk, Starmer's lot weren't even prepared to go into coalition with the leader and members of their own party in order to defeat the Tories. So what makes you think they'd go into coalition with you?
I am confused. We are clearly into another wave of Covid, and many people I know including the fully vaccinated, have had it quite badly recently, yet no one is talking about it.
What is going on?
In a few months time those who have been cheerleading Israel's actions will be rushing to distance themselves from what will become known, and for all time, as the Gaza Genocide.
It must be annoying to be a Starmer supporter, hating socialism but knowing you have no chance electorally without socialists' support.
Pleading with us, but unable to resist the temptation to insult us while you're doing it.
It is precisely the rhetoric of people like Keir Starmer, who declare unconditional support for Israel, that leads them to think they can - quite literally - get away with murder.
Theory: The over-the-top royalism of the media coverage is another sign of the British Establishment at panic stations, that we previously saw in the way that they pulled out all the stops to prevent a socialist government taking office.
Funny hor Rachel Reeves thinks the members who have left Labour don't share the party's - i.e. her - values, when so many of them had been members for decades longer than her.
The Starmerite understanding of grown up politics:
"Fuck off out of Our Party.
Now fuck off back over here for a moment to help us get elected.
Then fuck off again."
