This is why I love homeschooling.

I had the opportunity to watch the Yaa Samar! Dance Company perform “The Last Ward” this afternoon. What an incredibly moving piece performed by exceptional artists. For those in Durham, I strongly encourage you to attend.

@SMagoomo I 100% agree. That’s what I mean by do the work. It isn’t the minorities who need to do it. Truthfully, It’s the leaders of the party.

You might be on the bus that gets you to where you want. Or these next four years, you might need to put in the work to ensure the next bus goes where you want. At the end of the day, we’re all just trying to get somewhere better than where we are.

This is unbelievable. $480,000 only? I bet that’s the cost of cancer treatment for one person (before insurance obvi). As someone in remission from lymphoma, I would be enraged if my cancer was caused by a company, and this was their only punishment.

@mazzie581 Since May/June, it has gotten harder, but there are still organizations that are able to help get products inside.

The beauty of homeschooling is we have time to practice Arabic every day.

Homeschool looks different and started off on our front porch with a cup of tea, included reading while cuddling on the couch, and her 15 minutes “recess” was on our trampoline. We accomplished almost everything without tears plus time to eat and make it to practice on time!
