Really enjoyed last week’s @PhysicsofLifeUK PDRA networking day! It was fantastic to meet fellow awardees, receive advice on applying for grants and fellowships, and hear about lots of cool science! 🔬
Last week, we brought together our 18 PoL PDRA recipients for a full-day event hosted by @wellcometrust. 🌟 Each recipient gave a flash talk on their projects, and we were blown away by the quality of their work! 💡 see:

Thank you so much to all for recording this and sharing your stories, such an important topic that so many of us can resonate with!
Brave and important. A #mentalhealth podcast special. Hear first hand experiences from two hugely successful scientists, Beth Cimini and Kedar Narayan. Whilst a serious issue, it is very much a relaxed, engaging chat. See/Hear - #TheMicroscopists Pls retweet

Super proud of @LibbyHolmes98 and Sylvia for this, so much hard work has gone into those posters and it’s amazing to see it be rewarded 😁
After winning 1st prize 2 years ago, I’m delighted to have one 3rd prize for my scientific poster this year at the @RoyalMicroSoc AFM & SPM conference for a different project during my PhD, looking at DNA-protein interactions🔬alongside my friend and colleague Sylvia whittle🥇!
