@lulumeservey
usually agree with ur takes but disagree with this one, I think it’s brilliant advertising
when was the last time the entire world paid this much attention to an iPad update?
The ad is about compressing all of those instruments to smth that’s <6mm thick, not about crushing them
highly recommend freelancing/consulting for a few months if ur young, just out of school (<2-3 years), and want to be an entrepreneur long term
doing this rn and it’s teaching me way more about business than any of my failed projects did
@visakanv
yes, i realised i need to write more privately and publicly. doing both rn and i'm feeling much better than when i didn't, so thank you for that!
@Thilak
@levelsio
so someone didn't want you advertising your app in their replies... and your response is to call him... an insecure loser ?
and then somehow go on to say that tobacco companies have better morals than the guy making a $10 therapist? are u ok bro?
you!
yes, you.
you should post your thoughts more, instead of just liking and bookmarking tweets from others
for the first time in history, your ideas matter more than you think
future AI systems will be trained on your tweets
our ancestors will be talking to a part of you
Introducing Charts.

@WizardLM_AI
Making the model improve by throwing it into the ring to fight better models over and over is really clever
glad to see you guys are still cooking 🔥
People kept using Firecrawl 🔥 to extract structured data from web pages with an LLM.
So, we added it as a built-in feature 🚢
Announcing LLM-extraction: Extract structured data from websites with a single API call 👇
@gfodor
Yeah this criticism and feedback is good actually
It’s better to get dunked on after building something quickly instead spending a couple of years building in stealth and then having this happen to you
@mckaywrigley
been rewatching Her and Westworld season 1 about every year for the last few years. Every rewatch I feel like I understand a little more about humanity
ppl who love sci fi can see the future in a way that other people can’t
he makes a really good point:
aligning models to be politically correct sounds harmless, but we’re actually teaching it to lie
This is very dangerous bc we’ll never know what the model is actually thinking
kinda underestimated how much companies care about data security
just spoke to a few companies who said they'd pay a lot more $$$ for RAG/analytics/automation software only if they're fully local/airgapped
some companies won't even touch anything that uses cloud LLMs
the next 5 years are going to be really unpredictable
some humans are already experiencing an unprecedented leap in productivity
i think i should take experts’ “advice” about how to learn and prioritize with a grain of salt and just trust my own intuition about what to do
We are only getting started! you can subscribe to get notified when more lessons are uploaded
Better year we are compiling detailed notes, slides and additional resources here
@ctjlewis
Hi Lewis, we are pleased to let you know that you have been selected for an interview. To proceed, please attach an academic transcript for the following degree programs:
MS - Plowing, Your Mother
@MaxMynter
@MajmudarAdam
he didn’t say “never learn the fundamentals well”, it’s just not a priority initially
most ppl waste a lot of time looking for courses to complete (like school) instead of just learning what they want to learn
much better ROI to skip prereqs and learn enough to build something
@jamesmurdza
Hacking on a side project and could use some credits if you can’t use them in the next 12 days!
Making a real-time mobile dashboard for formula 1 races with concurrent driver radio transcription (STT) and analysis with GPT-4 and React.
this week keeps on giving
So far we’ve got:

about 10 years ago, my friends and i used to talk about how cool it would be to build a 4-person company - no employees, just the gang trying to print money on the internet
literally everyone i knew at the time thought it was crazy and impossible
genuinely feels possible now
i’m ambitious but i really have no interest in making millions
my only north star in life is being able to work <25 hrs/wk in my 30s so i can raise my kids without any full-time help
my plan for the next 10y is just to build businesses that can run without my constant presence
this app can get a little too addictive on days like this
don’t get sucked in, go enjoy your weekend
the facts will emerge eventually, but it’s probably going to take a day or more at least
@NickADobos
Not just tools, I think people who learn to build software alongside their own Devin-like agent systems will have insane leverage
the only way to compete with these guys is to automate everything we do as much as possible
there's a lot of opportunity in this space for independent engineers/consultants who know how to deploy LLMs locally and build useful b2b software that connects to private data sources
this demand is only going to go up as OSS models get better
I started doing this thing every weekend where I go to meetup dot com and find bars/cafes where people in very different industries are scheduled to hang out for a talk or smth
usually I’ll show up an hour late (after the talk ends) and just try to make new friends over a drink
im so excited for this release
this is a great read if you want to learn about how svelte 5 is lighter, faster, and somehow even more elegant than before
The ecosystem isn’t as big as react but svelte 5 just feels like a better *language* to describe user interfaces for the web
we both know you have that incredible taste to make great things
stop wasting time doubting yourself and just keep acquiring skills
the only way to find out if you can really do it is to work harder than you thought you could
play the game to play the game, not to win
wagmi.
Yo what can I say?
Its just a day in my life
Im up early in the morning,
in bed early at night
To be productive at work,
I got to be well rested
Yeah motherfucker,
you heard what I just said
I’m just a regular, everyday, normal motherfucker
@tushaarmehtaa
fr it really inspired a new generation of kids growing up on the internet
made me realize all I wanted in life was to build cool shit with my buddies too
@oliv_bruno8
@gwenshap
check this out
basically you make an llm generate a hypothetical answer to every question and then rank your similarity search results to this answer’s embedding instead of the question’s embedding directly
i LOVE this man
he really built a powerful systems programming lang for idiots
and guess what?
I FUCKING LOVE IT
i'm not gonna pretend like i'm smart and i enjoy writing rust and C
nah bro im dumb and i love golang because it lets me build great software with simple syntax
the next 3 years are so important
if you’ve ever wanted to bet on yourself now is the time
we’re gonna look back at this period 10-20y later & regret all the things we didn’t do between 2024-2027
it’s a short window of enormous opportunity, don’t waste it
