It's just that I don't believe that Musk and Trump are going after that. I mean, if they were a couple of regular guys that made a good salary and rose through the political ladder, like normal people, then maybe I could believe their intentions are true. Trump has convinced so many people that his lies are a strategy. That, on its face, makes what he says meaningless.

But claiming that Social Security is corrupt is a path for the billionaire ruling class to fool you into cutting it. Trust me, these guys don't give a rats ass about you. Its all about cutting their responsibility toward society , like taxes, regulations, etc., things that check their power. The only thing that matters to them, about you, is that they get you to agree to suffer.

I don't think so. It's been a Republican wish to get rid of it since Roosevelt started it. They consider it a form of communism. They really want it gone. First step is to make a lot of noise about how bad it is and how bad it's run and how much corruption there is. Second step is to get rid of it. Make sure you save at least a million and a half dollars or more or your retirement will be awful.

@DougWahl1 Well if it was a mistake, he doesn't have control over his operation. If it was a calculated move and then meant to look like it was a mistake, It's not a very good one because it still makes him look bad. Just keep in mind that all this is going to get much much worse.

Well it does depend on how the CRUD program actually retrieves the data, so most of what you just said is a lie. Just because data is stored inefficiently doesn't mean that there's theft going on. It just means it might take longer to get a person's name out of the damn thing. There is a good chance the software takes that into consideration when retrieving data. Just because a database isn't normalized doesn't mean it's corrupt. It's just crappy.
