Holding a Nigeria passport now, identifies you as a citizen of a lawless, fraudulent and corrupt country. My dad was flying from NYC to Lagos last week, with a stopover in Morocco. At the airport his hand luggage was flagged for being over the recommended limit. He didn’t make a fuss and went on to reduce it. The lady at the desk said the allowance was 6kg but Dad’s luggage was 9.5kg. Whilst she held on to his Nigerian passport, my dad proceeded to taking more stuff out of his suitcase. Meanwhile, the next desk had another passenger, a US citizen, who was flying on the same flight as him. Dad noticed the guy’s luggage weighed 11.5kg and the lady was ok with it. He got mad and flagged it up, they couldn’t justify why the other guy was allowed. Being a very blunt man, he asked the lady if it had anything to do with his Nigerian passport and the color of his skin? She felt embarrassed and did not reply him. My Dad then brought out his own US passport(although she never asked him if he had another nationality) and told the lady at the counter she deserves to be fired. He then proceeded to put back all the stuff he took out of his suitcase in the first place, making it 9.5kg and told the lady if she won’t tag his suitcase he would “deal with her”🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️(I don’t support any form of violence) She tagged it and allowed him to proceed to the departure lounge. Nigerians has always been dehumanized and victimized when you present a Nigerian passport because of corruption that has tainted our democracy. Today, we have a government ran by the worst, least qualified and most unscrupulous citizens that wears the evil, manipulative gloves of greed and arrogance, forcing Nigerians into a red alert state of shame and embarrassment when they see that green passport. -The cut runs deeper!

@yabaleftonline My last visit to Nigeria, saw lots of girls with camera men taking photos at hotel bar, swimming pool without intent to swim, on speed boats and jet ski. At the end they paid their money and called it a day. It's the new normal.

@ShehuSani We cannot look ahead without a glance of the past. Insecurity is the biggest problem in Nigeria. May the souls of the departed RIP.
