No one should add caveats like this. The News and Observer is most demonized by fans for its central role in bringing to light a far reaching scandal that threatened UNC's accreditation and has now cost a public school $21 million.
I recognize there are mixed feelings in the UNC sports world about the outlet presenting this story, but this is a very well-written feature that presents multiple sides of an issue and will make you stop and think.

First is that the geography of the Gulf Coast and Tampa Bay itself means the whole area is at much worse risk to floods than normal. The water is shallower and the land is flatter than around, say, Miami. If storm surge goes up vertically a little, it moves inland a LOT.
