Freshman Rising Star: Kaelyn Boss of Osage City HS is one of the top players in Kansas this season and is only a freshman. She is averaging 23.2 pts, 5.4 reb, 5.2 stls, 2.3 asst per game. She was also ranked the #1 discus thrower in the US last year as an 8th grader and will be one of the top throwers in the state of Kansas as a freshman this spring. Osage is 11-1 on the year. Boss family has been quite talented for OC. Older sister Lexi, a senior at OC, one of top throwers in Kansas that’s headed to Wichita State. Osage City’s freshman Kaelyn Boss with an impressive triple double on Tuesday night in the Indians big win over Cair Paravel.The freshman had 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 steals. Incredible stat line for any player, much less a freshman in her 8th game of her high school career!
