Imo this is not good considering Ethereum is a proof-of-stake protocol validated by insiders who were given majority supply as a pre-mine. What is stopping insiders from cozying up to Citadel and other big GME shorts, creating a new block that settles their short obligations without the need to buy shares from the open market and having the majority of validators confirm only that block? Our short squeeze thesis - they need what we have and we're not giving it to them - falls to the wayside.
