There’s a thing called maximum and minimum sentence. The court and judge usually look at your criminal history and remorse for what you’ve done. He showed neither and had a long criminal record which means he gets the maximum. Too bad for him.

He isn’t. Boxing is heavily dependent on PPV/gate sales while UFC has a deal with ESPN that pays them $300 mil yearly. UFC doesn’t have to sell a million PPV’s to be successful. UFC has a higher brand value than boxing does. Boxing has to squeeze every penny they can from fans.
