@trainofangels00 @NewGenPPC @MaximeBernier No, I scrolled through the comments and saw your post. I invite everyone to put aside petty squabbling and agree on the policies of the PPC. Let’s all be better. You are from Atlantic Canada - I made a post about your end of the country.
The province of Newfoundland has an unemployment rate of 10.4%. Yet their provincial government wants foreign workers, even for food service jobs. The PPC is the only party that does not subscribe to this insane idea that Canadian businesses can import workers like items from Temu. We are a failed country if we cannot find locals to work in food services when unemployment is at 10.4%. It seems like our elected officials forget that they serve the public, not businesses who have gotten lazy and spoilt with an endless stream of cheap labour. Bringing in immigrants who will put up with low pay and poor working conditions until they quit after receiving their permanent status, is not sustainable. We should be investing in our own citizens to take up these basic jobs. We should not be filling these roles for the short term by handing out Canadian passports like Halloween candy. Serious countries put their own citizens first.

@trainofangels00 @NewGenPPC @MaximeBernier The PPC platform is the best Canada First federal platform. I want the best for Canada. It is as simple as that.

As of February 4th, we acknowledge the 25% tariff imposed on Canada by U.S. President Mr. Trump, who prioritizes an "America First" approach. At a consumer level, we must unite under the banner of "Canada First." Regardless of our backgrounds, religions, or origins, we have chosen Canada as our home. It is our responsibility to mitigate the damage to our economy and support our nation by prioritizing Canadian-made products. When shopping for groceries and other items, let’s choose products that proudly say “Made in Canada” rather than those from the U.S. Furthermore, we must also be vigilant about companies replacing laid-off Canadians with cheaper temporary foreign workers during the tariff war. No Liberal, Conservative, or NDP member is calling for an immigration pause, even in an economic crisis. A moratorium on immigration would protect both Canadian workers over-here and aspiring immigrants who might have secure jobs abroad. In spite of our current issues and leadership, Canada is still a remarkable nation, and we should all take pride in it. Together, let’s embrace the spirit of “Canada First” and strengthen our commitment to this place we call home. Thank you all, Jeff Lal MP Candidate Brampton East People’s Party Of Canada

@SarahlStoodley your unemployment rate is over 10%. Why are you not investing in unemployed Canadians in your province or offering relocation packages to Canadians from other provinces? Can you clarify if spaces means an individual person or a family unit? What effect are your policies having on wage stagnation and housing affordability in your province?

“international Students”. This is an issue not just affecting Brampton but all of Canada. Some cities have seen population growth of over 10% year over year as hundreds of thousands of people used fly by night colleges and their bullshit education to scam their way into Canada. Just look what Conestoga college has done to the Waterloo area. Canada’s brightest graduates from the University of Waterloo move to the USA as soon as they graduate, while we are left with these “college” graduates. If Canada was a serious nation, we would not be tolerating behaviour as seen in the video below. I invite any Canadian to attempt this abroad. When discussing this issue in Brampton, one of the points I made is “Would we allow this behaviour in the countries we come from?” The answer was a resounding ‘No!’. While people are falling through the cracks and into homelessness, our refugee industry is paying for housing, food and every other need of people like this. Canada needs to get serious. This is not My Canada that I know when I came here as a student in 1985 From Fiji Islands

It was just announced that Brampton had grown by an astonishing 90,000 people in one year. 13% year over year growth. Not one of our 338 elected MPs have spoken against this or raised concern. When should mass, unvetted immigration become a major issue? When every town and city in this country grows 13% YOY? How much will Brampton grow a year from now? Why do we have to wait for things to break down before we address them? This silence from our elected leaders validates my decision to run for the PPC, the only party that is calling out the lunacy of these indefensible mass immigration numbers. Population growth like this only happens during a war or natural disaster. The dereliction of duty of the overpaid 338 MPs is a manmade disaster. No amount of “axing the tax”, “building the homes”, “bringing it home” (whatever the hell that means) can accommodate such growth. Unwanted growth. This level of growth was not voted for the people of Brampton, or Canada. And what does Brampton look like today? Business and home invasions. Bank robberies and car thefts. Imported organized crime. The numbers alone - 90,000 people - what effect does that have on our roads, hospitals, schools… our social fabric? Where is the Green Party and all their sustainability preaching on immigration? I came to Canada in 1985 and remember coming to a welcoming country with a distinct culture. Now we are splintering into little countries and communities. We have politicians and policies that have done nothing but enflame our differences and chip away at whatever it meant to be Canadian… the same politicians are now trying to invoke some sense of patriotism in the face of Trump’s tariffs. Enough is enough. This year’s election is not a carbon tax election. It is a referendum on immigration. It is a fight for Canada’s soul. This country has given me everything, this land and its people have given me nothing but opportunity to thrive and I cannot stand by and see it wither away under the status quo of the 2 main parties. Join the PPC today and let us put this country on a path to sanity. A path to Greatness!
