The worst thing about losing your 17 year old, kick ass, ROXSTAR dog is her absence. The best thing?? Every awesome fun adventures etc that we shared, AND knowing that’s what’s in store for your besties. The special attention she gave me didn’t hurt either 😍 MEET MAGGIE!

Every day i fight, against depression. Mental illness somehow became taboo. It’s embarrassing. U feel shame. So Smile. Afraid to ask for help. It shouldn’t be like this. Use your resources friends family therapist. Anyone would prefer to sit and listen than speak at your funeral.

Few yrs ago my mental health put me in a danger zone. I actually thought I could do more for others w my death than my life. Took (more) therapy and the addition medication to get through it. And I’m not always great. I struggle some days. And that’s ok. 1/2

Moving back to NYC wasn’t all roses and butterflies. I found myself in a deep depression. It was very dark. My anti-meds psychiatrist suggested medicine for the first time in 12 years of seeing me as a patient. Today I’m feeling better. Not 100% but see significant improvement1/2
