Well folks it's been an emotional kind of day. Today I said goodbye to my first scania, my first V8 and my first manual gearbox. But now lets say a massive heeeelllllllooooo to the S650 so now it's time to learn to drive one of the bigger toys.

Finally made it back to the yard, washed trailer inside and out and some tlc for the lorry. Might regret it seeing as I'm off Monday, she will probably have another pilot for the day🙄

Time for me to say goodbye to my wee fuzz butt 🐈 load up the car and head up to the big beast see what the week ahead brings. I may see some of you on the road, if not, have a good one. Today's aim is to make it to the raven cafe but we will see. 🚛💨💪

Came up the road during the night, truck & trailer washed and some pride restorer. Time to do the paperwork, gather up the gear and head home for a long soak in a hot bath 🛀 Have a gr8 weekend folks.

Gotta say this S series is a game changer. Plenty pulling torque, smooth to drive, pull-out bed comfy as you like and being at work is a dream. Roll on Tuesday so I can get my new bedding in and get on the road. 🚛💨

If any of my trucking buddies are heading above Perth or Dundee all major routes are closed. A92, A90, A96, A9. Flooding, trees down and snow causing major disruptions. Stay safe out there lads n lasses.

Loading at a farm yesterday & I complimented farmers daughter how well she did with the few loads of barley she did. Mum text me today thanking me for the compliment it boosted her daughters confidence no end. Little things can mean the world to someone.......just saying!!!!

Well folks, today I am officially unemployed. I have said goodbye to the V8 and off to pastures new on Monday. Will I miss the V8? Absolutely! At the end of the day extra pennies in the pay packet are much more important. P.S. not ignoring anyone, can't charge my phone!

Broken down and where I'm getting lorry fixed let me use the kitchen. Kettle boiled, cup filled to make coffee and my hot water bottle to keep my feet toasty. Its the small things in life.

Roads are total carnage today which fooked me over trying to get home. Parked up in coneygarth for a feed, 10hrs off and setting off at midnight to get back to yard, wash the beast and get myself home to my wee fuzz butt 🐈

Well folks, finally I've made it home. 51hrs drive, 78hrs worked and over 3300ks covered this week and thats me finished for 2 whole weeks. Merry Christmas everyone, have a gr8 time. Mind its who's with u at the tree not what's under it tbst counts!!

Serious accident on M8 yesterday resulted in a fatality. Folks, please do not take any risks, traffic volumes are unreal this time of year. Be patient, be respectful, be considerate and most importantly, please make it home to your loved ones for Christmas.

Parked up at a distillery last night, finished tipping midnight got to bed 12.45am. Got woken up someone banging on door fire alarm going off. Remember telling him to chap again if it's a fire and i will move lorry. 🙈 absolutely shattered today 😴

Another morning another breakdown. Can't get lorry to start, not even turning over. Battery on full charge so not that, no clicking noise so not starter motor and suspected broken wire. Think I'm gonna be a recovery job 🤦♀️

At the pub having a few drams, few games of pool and chilling. Most importantly, raising my glass to my mum who passed 1.15pm on 22nd November 2007. It may be 16yrs but she's in my thoughts every single day and miss her like you wouldn't believe. Love you mum, miss you more ❤️😘
