There's a lot to say about this accomplishment. Being able to mint a DEA of a book - a digital asset that you own - with the ability to mint a physical copy that you also own and that maintains a relationship to the DEA ... well, it's groundbreaking at minimum. Sky's the limit. Congrats to this team.

@Jennycitalinda That said, appropriate tension helps recognize that we must come towards each other for the greater vision we're all invested in, so it feels to me like chaotic times like these are an invitation to try harder to collaborate and adjust. Appreciate your leadership as always :)

@Jennycitalinda People resist tense situations, especially if they aren't already welcomed into an ecosystem and invested in participating. Maintaining conflict over time is like setting an anchor to the whole ship - no one is sailing and everyone is stuck together ... or jumping ship.

@jonahkoch Similar thing happens in the non-profit sector where being compensated is equated with taking away from the mission, but employees burn out in 2-3 years. @danpallotta has a great series of books on this that our space could learn a lot from.

@jonahkoch Dude. Yes. Have been having this conversation often recently with fatigued big-hearted people. This is a lesson this ecosystem learns every two years or so, turns over its people and then repeats the process with new participants.
